After a trial run at grandmas house (first time away for Tris away from us), we left Tris with papi and mami for a week in France.
They didn't stop! Every day was a new adventure including collecting eggs and feeding neighbours animals. Here they are going fishing 'chez Jaques'- although nothing was caught apart from a few new French words.
He went on a climbing day in the trees using a 'clic et clac' (these words seem to have stuck and he now frequently talks about the need for them in park situations!).
They had an amazing day out at the Puy de Fou, seeing (this is the order Trid told us it in): lions, amazing suits of armour, a boat on fire, proper armour in lots of places, a man with 3 arms and a hidden water pistol and real suits of armour. As you can see the armour was very important and he was rewarded with his ownone - just a shame that papi didn't invest in a decent set for himself!
....and taking a well-earned break with some French literature (Moliere next year?).
