Samuel - 11 months

Sam is now 11 months old.

He has 4 teeth (16 to go...)



...and a very infectious laugh.

Tristan is very proud to carry him round (although as you see Sam doesn't necessarily like it!) - although its getting more and more of a struggle as he weighs more than half as much as Tristan (about 91/2 kilos).

We have a few first sounds 'up', 'mama', 'there' and bye bye' are roughly there if you know what you are looking for!

Tristan's March

 Despite the cold weather and frequent snow we have managed to get out a bit. Tristan is always desperate to play with his brother and still calls him "my little darling" in a high-pitched voice whenever he sees him!

TRistan tried archery and was really keen - he has constantly talked about wanting a bow and arrow ever since. Poor kid he has to make do with a coat hanger and pointing the hook at things!

Tristan did a weeks intensive swimming class - he loved it (although not wearing the swimming cap!) and really came on although he does seem to have done a lot of courses without actually yet being able to swim!

We saw a 'daredevil stuntshow' and Tris now has some alternative career options (although actually Manu was quite keen too!).

Visit to Marseille

Samuel went on his first ever flight and was pretty ok with it all.

It was Tonton Stephane's 40th birthday (yep we are all feeling older now because of it!) celebration - a surprise fancydress party! We were the pirate family!
