Donkey Donkey Donkey!

Well it wouldn't be a trip to the seaside without Tristan's first (and second!) donkey rides. He loved it but treated the donkey much like a toy bouncing zebra he rides at home and was jiggling back and fore on it as if he were in the grand national - meanwhile the donkey was just ignoring him and strolling along! Tristan's cousins are slightly more practiced and ladylike on their steads!

Grandma turns 60

We went up to St Annes for Grandma's birthday (1 day after Manu's - he always gets to spend his brithday with the inlaws!).

No I didn't make the cake - this was made by uncle Richard and was divine (a vodka and kirsh, merangue and almond chocolate cake - yum!)
