Cauterets 2011 (just in case we go again next year!)

The weather was great even getting into double figures - there was lots of snow at the beginning but less at the end of our stay. The scenery was great throughout though:

Tristan discovered a new method of transport (I didn't think anything would beat planes, but cable cars did!):

He also developed a taste for sledging (especially when it meant he didn't have to walk!).

and throwing stones in the river - he definitely learnt the association between size of the stone and size of the splash and was trying to pick up stones (pr rocks) bigger than him for maximum impact!

My first plane ride

We went for 5 days to Cauterets (for some snow) and met mami and papi there. It was Tristan's first time on a plane and he was very very excited.


I think he may have annoyed all the passengers though as he inisited (throughout the flights) of flying his toy plane through the air with loud "brmmmm' noises and the ending the pretend flights with a loud "crash" each time!

We're going on a bear hunt....

This is Tristan and his two eldest cousins 'going on a bear hunt' (you might recognise the image on the stickers...).... meanwhile the 2 dads went fishing and not a bear to be seen (or any fish in one of the cases eh Manu!).

Boxing

We have finally got round to opening most of the boxes from our move (yes 5 months ago )well apart from the ones that have been condemned to the attic (until we ever move house again!). TRistan's cousins came for a long weekend and soon found some use for them!
as a den and as a place to stick papa!And here are the work gang having a tea break before getting back in the den!
