With the summer being so warm, we made a last minute 'let's go camping decision'. We went to a great site in the New Forest with loads of ponies wandering around and very noisy at 4am birds. We stuck to the rules of only 2 nights as then you can't get too sleep deprived.
Here we are setting up. Well I'm taking the photo/ looking after the baby and the man is doing the rest (another camping rule!).
The tent is ready for our first night...
and two very excited boys. The rules were going well apart from the layers - with it being so hot during the day we'd forgot/ repressed how cold it could get in the night and Manu and I spent the night constantly rejigging the sleeping order to maximize warmth (for the children at least). Ironically they slept fine! We were at the supermarket first thing the next day buying extra duvets!
Our nominal reason for camping was to be able to spend a full day at Paultons Park. We had lots of fun and Sam really enjoyed it too. We started in the Peppa Pig (very slow ride and with the annoying theme music) section but soon Tris was being a daredevil and Sam shows every sign of following in his footsteps!
