Yes the good weather has sent us back to the farm.

More lambs

More opportunities to admire machinery

And more family as the garand parent visit was followed by a visit of his 3 cousins, aunt and uncle.

Easter

We organised a little Easter egg hunt for him and 2 of his freinds which was quite sweet - only one of them understood the concept, Tristan didn't get it at all, but then decided what he would do is just go and empty and take things from the baby who had done all the collecting - clever eh!

This is him holding the basket we made 'together' (he put blobs of paint while I took it very seriously), as you see we got so excited at his first egg hunt we didn't even do up his coat properly!

He got a lot more into it once he had been shown that there was chocolate inside (ie something worth hunting!).

Studious boy

Tristan has a little table and chairs now which he loves. Its very sweet to watch him come in and go and sit down. The difficulty with it all is that he can't get the knack of pulling the chair close to the table so often ends up being too far away to use the table! The first couple of days with the chair though he kept trying to sit on it and missing which was hilarious (for us at any rate!).
Now he has his 'study area' he has added a few more words to his vocabularly. They are pretty random and not at all useful from our perspective (I'm tired/ hungry/ need a new nappy/ drink would be great), the words in order of appearance (after the very first word of 'down') are:
bye bye, bubble, ball, tractor, tiger, turtle.
His favourite 'word'/ noise (which might come from 'up there') is abba and is roughly translated as 'I want and you now have 2 seconds to comply all I'll scream....'
Meanwhile both Manu and I are still 'mummy' - as is anyone else though who might be in a position to give him what he wants.
