Arsenal's youngest new recruit

Another nice day, not only do I have a swimming pool but now I'm pretty much sitting up I have a swing as well - next stop Disneyland!

We sat outside in the garden for some time.

Enjoying the cooling breeze and playing a bit with the ball

Tristan can now sit by himself for more than a minute, if he is not distracted.

24 weeks

Tristan is 24 weeks old today.

He now has a highchair to go with his new mush eating status. He has 2 meals a day (he's not a breakfast person) of 2 courses. He now weighs 15.65 lbs or 7 kgs (why does it take him so many weeks to put on what I could manage in one meal!).

He's enjoying the summer - don't yet know who he's going to take after skin-wise but with the good weather we will soon see if there are any freckles!

He's on his second term at swimming now. He knows to close his eyes before being dunked, gets taken under the water and released and can unreliably hold on to the edge of the pool by himself.

Mess

Feeding time is a messy business. So far he is eating fruit (not citrus) and veg only and that is bad enough - we cannot imagine what will happen when its spagetti bolognaise or similar!

This is banana and avocado puree - it might not look messy to begin with but thats only because it blends in with the bib. Fortunately its not only nutritous but good for the skin!

Current food status:

Things he likes: pears, mango, banana, grape, potato, brocoli, roasted corgette, butternut squash, turnip, leak, tomato.
Things he's not sure of: peas, apple, spinach, avocado, green beans. carrot.
Things he hates with a vengence: porridge, sweet potato, baby cereal, rhubarb (his dad's idea to try!).
