Now that's more like it!

Sam met the snow for the first time - he wasn't impressed!

We built a male snowman to even the gender divide!

As well as the snow, we had some amazing icicles (the upside of drippy gutters!)

Safari

We went to Woburn safari park - our first outing of 2013.

We made papi drive as that way we had a better view (/his car got attacked by monkeys)

Tristan was very impressed by the sea lions  let's hope he learns a few things from them - no whinging about having to do tricks for your food or the fact that the entire meal was fish!

We raced down the slides (including Sam)

and birds flew onto us when bribed with nectar...

Papi got the whole experience as he was also the bird's loo!

Snow 2013 (so far...)

Tristan was very excited to wake up to snow, although by the time we were appropriately dressed it had started disappearing.

Here's Tristan waiting for me to venture out (like I couldn't see the snowball waiting for me!).

Here's the somewhat sinister snowman (and co-creator) which looks more like a penguin and used up all he snow in the garden. Tristan liked jumping on it and squashing it to bits best!

Papi and Mami...

...arrived as grandma left - on in one out!

The boys got to further hone their present opening skills...

Tristan particularly loved Sam's tractor. His first comment was, "I'll drive it and Sam can go in the trailer"!

Papi and mami didn't feel great on new year's eve and made it to about 9pm (10pm French time!). They then succumbed to our vomiting bug (at least it proved it wasn't the turkey!) and the oysters didn't hold the normal attraction.
