Thomas was at Didcot station for Christmas and we went for a family outing to see him.

The fat controller had lost a bit of weight since our last visit 2 years ago.
Tristan asked Santa how he could deliver so many present in such a short time. And he answered that he lived in the North Pole , not by pleasure, but by need of using the special time zone , and the ability to stop the clock when all are asleep to give him the time he needs to go around all the houses. Tristan was more than satisfied with that answer.
