growing stuff

 Well we ended up getting rid of the allotment (amid many cries of 'I told you so!') - having only successfully grown weeds and tarpaulin there.

... but we have managed some self sufficiency on a much smaller scale growing peas, potatoes and spinach quite successfully in tubs - the carrots all got eaten by the birds...
