Growing up

Tristan is now very full of himself, he has moved up a class in creche ("no not creche mummy its hedgehogs") and is loving it.

He has a strong idea of what he should and shouldn't wear (although his love of hairclips remains!), this is him getting ready for a wedding "I'm beautiful mummy".Whilst he insists that we dance with him at home, out on the real dancefloor he kept telling us to go and sit down as I guess we were cramping his 'style' (mostly running in circles, jumping and lying on the floor kicking his legs)

He still anything mechanical trains, diggers, planes, "I do it by myself mummy", and my vocabulary on these subjects is now tested to the limit (fortunately the Bob 2010 annual has a crib sheet in it!), he also understand his colours now so can't be fobbed of with me using colours alone to differentiate the world of tractor-type digging machines.

His favourite book though is 'The Gruffulo' and he can recite it by heart now, infact my reading of it is just me saying the wrong words so he can sigh and correct me. He also thinks it very funny to point out apparent similarities between his parents and the Gruffulo, "your eyes are orange-y, your tongue is black, let me look, purple pickles all over your back - it's mummy Griffulo ha ha ha!"
