The French Coast

We spent 1 1/2 weeks on the island devouring seafood, having bbqs and lots of siestas. We even managed to read something that wasn't baby related(fyi Helen 2 books by Christpher Brookmyre - very good; Manu daily French newspapers)!

Manu posing with some random fish (no he didn't catch them but he assures me he did catch some similar fish although I've not seen photographic evidence and he didn't bring them home for the bbq as they were conveniently inedible. Hmm. Manu's dad was with him but had clearly been briefed on the cover story. One thing that did emerge from their story of a mornings fishing was that there was a lot of vomiting (including them).

Tristan loved the sand and amazingly didn't try to eat it.

The sea was also a big hit (as were his daily ice creams required to keep his temperature down in the hot weather) - he's come along way since his first encounter with it at Lullworth Cove (although it was substantially warmer!).
