We live about 1 hour by train west of London (that's the red A on the map).
Here's the tourist bit - its pretty central for lots of other places (Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford etc.) and has lots of nice walks mostly along canals, but also away from the water in places like Watership Down (a la the rabbit film!).
